Hi! I'm Mona, MFT

“Therapy with me is a place where you can take a deep breath, let your guard down, and feel genuinely heard, supported, and understood”

Everyone has a story. Some chapters are filled with joy, while others leave us feeling hurt, overwhelmed, or questioning ourselves. Whatever chapter you’re in right now, I want you to know that your story matters to me.

I love supporting teens, young adults, adults, couples, and families who are ready to better understand themselves, strengthen their relationships, and begin healing from the experiences that have shaped their lives.

Many of the clients I work with come to me feeling stuck. They’ve tried to push through on their own, but they keep finding themselves in the same thoughts, the same relationship patterns, or the same emotional struggles. What I often hear from clients…

  • “I’m exhausted from overthinking everything all the time.”
  • “I feel like no one really gets me.”
  • “We keep having the same arguments…I don’t know how to make things better.”
  • “I know something needs to change… I just don’t know where to start.”
  • “Why does the past still have such a hold on me?”

If any of those thoughts sound familiar, I get it. I believe therapy should be as unique as the person sitting across from me. That’s why I draw from Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), attachment-based therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), trauma-informed care, and Gottman Method principles. Every client’s needs, strengths, and goals are different, so I tailor our work together to fit what will be most helpful for you rather than relying on a one-size-fits-all approach.

One of my favorite parts of being a therapist is creating a space where you don’t have to hide parts of yourself or carry everything on your own. Whether it’s fear, shame, grief, or experiences you’ve never felt safe enough to talk about, I believe those are often the moments where healing begins.

As a culturally responsive therapist with Middle Eastern roots, I have a deep appreciation for the ways culture, family, identity, and lived experiences influence how we navigate life’s challenges.

That’s why therapy with me is a space where every part of who you are is welcomed, respected, and considered throughout the therapy process.

Wherever life has brought you today, I hope therapy becomes a place where you feel safe enough to be yourself, supported enough to grow, and empowered to move toward the life and relationships you deserve.

Is your teen dealing with stress, anxiety, self-harm, identity issues, trauma, or other family-related situations?

Being a teenager today isn’t easy. Between school, friendships, social media, family expectations, and trying to figure out who they are, it’s easy to feel overwhelmed. Sometimes that stress shows up as anxiety, shutting down, anger, self-harm, withdrawing from others, or feeling like no one really understands.

As a parent, you want to help. You want your teen to feel happy, confident, and safe. But it can be heartbreaking when you’ve tried everything you know and nothing seems to get through.

That’s where I come in.

I work with teens in a way that feels genuine, supportive, and free of judgment. My goal isn’t to “fix” your teen, it’s to help them understand themselves, build healthy coping skills, and feel more confident navigating life’s challenges. I also believe parents play an important role in the healing process, so when appropriate, we’ll work together to help your family feel more connected and supported.

My hope is that therapy becomes a place where your teen feels comfortable being themselves, and where your family feels like you finally have someone walking alongside you, not just treating symptoms, but helping everyone move toward a healthier, more hopeful future.

Is your relationship struggling with communication, conflict, trust, or feeling disconnected?

Relationships go through difficult seasons. Maybe it feels like you’re having the same arguments over and over again, struggling to communicate without things escalating, or wondering how you became more like roommates than partners. You may love each other deeply, but still feel misunderstood, disconnected, or unsure of how to move forward together.

When your relationship is hurting, it affects so much more than just the two of you. It can impact your emotional well-being, your family, and the life you’ve built together. You’ve probably tried talking things through on your own, but somehow you keep ending up in the same place.

That’s where I come in.

My role isn’t to decide who’s right or wrong or take sides. It’s to help you better understand one another, strengthen your emotional connection, and build healthier ways of communicating and working through challenges together. Using Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) and Gottman Method principles, we’ll identify the patterns that keep you feeling stuck and replace them with new ways of connecting that foster trust, understanding, and security.

My hope is that therapy becomes a place where both of you feel heard, respected, and supported, and where your relationship can begin moving away from frustration and toward the connection, partnership, and closeness you’re both looking for.

Is your family struggling with communication, conflict, constant tension, or feeling disconnected?

Families are meant to be a source of support, but sometimes they can also become one of our biggest sources of stress. Whether you’re navigating parent-teen conflict, sibling tension, adult child-parent issues, major life changes, blended family challenges, or simply feeling like no one is hearing one another, it’s easy for everyone to feel frustrated, hurt, or stuck.

As a family, you want to feel connected again. You want your home to be a place where everyone feels heard, respected, and supported. But when emotions run high and the same conflicts keep happening, it can be difficult to know how to move forward together.

That’s where I come in.

My role isn’t to place blame or decide who’s right or wrong. It’s to help your family better understand one another, improve communication, and create healthier ways of working through conflict. Together, we’ll explore the patterns that are keeping your family stuck while building stronger connections, greater understanding, and a more supportive home environment.

My hope is that therapy becomes a place where every family member feels safe to share their thoughts and feelings, where each person’s perspective is valued, and where your family can begin moving toward healthier relationships, stronger communication, and a renewed sense of connection.
